This is a bug under Beta 8 of the Nexus 4 Sailfish build.

Under Settings > System > Connectivity, I have: Flight Mode WLAN Bluetooth USB Location

But no Mobile Network! Anyone know why it's missing? I'm currently unable to send/receive MMS (though SMS works fine), and I'd like to check my APN settings. But I can't because the setting simply isn't there!

Some notes about my device: I ported Sailfish to my Nexus 4, and it uses 1.1.6.27. When I installed it, I didn't have an activated SIM in it. Not sure if either of those matters, but I thought I'd include the details. I also want to add that while the setting is not there, I am connected to my mobile network.

Edit: just discovered another problem with my settings. When I pull down on the lock screen, the only option there is Silence Sounds. There should be more!

Thank you!

I reflashed the device and Mobile Network magically appeared! Solved (however, I can't choose my own answer as the solution, since I don't have enough points).

Done and done. :) Glad you could solve it. Closing this one. :)

Thanks. Turns out the setting disappeared again when I rebooted the phone. And I realized that another Connectivity setting is gone, too: Internet Sharing.

That's really annoying. I'm losing steam.

Maybe you should update the topic and let's reopen the question, it seems there's a bit more to it than a flashing gone wrong.

I found two other people on xda who reported the same issues with this build of Sailfish for Nexus 4. The previous build works, though. So, I think the porters know about it. But I'll see if I can figure out how to reopen the topic.
