Sorting the application menu

It would be a nice feature if the application menu could be sorted automatically - for example in alphabetical order. Organizing apps by dragging and dropping will most likely get quite painful as the number of installed apps increases.

Maybe I.didn't understand the question but if you are talking about Launcher screen the.app icons cannot be drag-dropped even now. They are sorted automatically so that the last used app is on the top-left position.

I think jpt means the application list below the home screen.

Currently they are sorted in order of installation (I think) with changes by dragging the icons around.

Yes, I was talking about the Home-screen, and in Launcher screen the order of icons is the installation order .. So a way to specify the how they. are sorted could be useful in many places..
