Hello Sailors.

First, I saw that in the future UI of SFOS, the first row of application ( on launched applications page ) isn't here anymore. All my applications are in folders on the first row, i don't really have a launcher page, and i don't want to change it because of this update.

And it seems that swipping down isn't locking the screen anymore, you have to choose the lock screen button after swipping down.

My question is : Can we adjust it in SFOS settings ? Or can we hope a patch can do this ?

Thanks, Excuse my english ;)

The first row will be gone...but it's really nice how you can access apps and in my opinion better than it is now. But of course you are in a special situation with how you used the first row of apps.

Public demos at MWC in spring didn't show a possibility to lock phone/close apps via swipe-down. But Jolla devs already mentioned there that they have to find a solution for this, since many Sailfish OS users don't want to miss the swipe-down features.

So up to know we don't know how it will be solved, but I'm pretty sure something has been done since the last demos we saw... Let's hope for the best :)

I think I saw a video where tapping empty area in the homescreen brought the first row of icons visible for 5 seconds or something.

Noone knows yet. -except devs and early testers-

However i remember Jakko Roppola said that will be some sort of customization for the gestures. No idea if it finally made it in the 2.0 release -and IMO it will be stupid if it didn't-

There are various bug/requests in TJC regarding the topics you mention.
