I've been noticing that rebooting jolla on a daily basics keeps it working better. Again.

rebooted jolla yesterday mid-day. android notification started to work. this morning (after a reboot) I recieved emails from yesterday althought few hours back email app did say all my emails were uptodate.

battery levels might be out of date and after a reset it jumps to totally somewhere else than before.

a few total shutdowns have happened with in my opinion not heavy usage.

14 days uptime for me with 1.1.7.27 and no reboots. Everything is working well. However, I don't use android apps that would create notifications (much).

I don't need to reboot it manually.Jolla is doing it spontaneously, at least once a day (especially when i'm using few android apps and the browser(which keeps getting buggier and buggier)). ;)

This could be the start of the dreaded reboot/boot loop problem. In my case it also started with random slow downs that required reboots. This was followed by sudden 'empty battery' problems (suddenly shutting down at 4% or lower), while after a reboot it showed 60-70% again. Eventually the device became too unreliable, because it would shut down several times a day, or get stuck in the boot loop.

It sent it in to Jolla who replaced the battery. Since then, no more problems (knock on wood...). If the above description is similar to your problems, my advice to you is to get in touch with care@jolla.com to get it fixed. There are some work arounds that in my case only helped temporarily. At the basis there was a faulty battery that had to be excanged.

Search for 'jolla boot loop' on this forum and you'll find plenty of people who had this problem. Reference those links in your problem description.

yup. had booting problems caused by loose battery, got it fixed via jolla care. few previous updates have worked 30days without rebooting so im guessing something else is the reason for this.

The same problem occurred with me. It was kind of solved by removing my 64GB sd-card. Since then, I haven't had any restarts (yet). It is no real solution to me, I am about to do a full reset to my Jolla with the btrfs balance etc.

Do you have a sd-card? Btrfs formatted?

Hm, I also have a 64GB SDCard, formatted with btrfs, causing problems. I got read errors when reading media on the card. Since btrfs checksums data, it could indicate corruption. How that corruption comes into being, is unknown. But I reckon that causes all kinds of weird issues with tracker and other things trying to read/write to the card.

What I don't know is whether it's an issue with the card, Jolla's hardware or Jolla's btrfs. My desktop can't read the card was well. The kernel (3.19) reports errors too.

I might try another fs. Suggestions?

yup, have a mSD card for backup's. I think it's 4 GB
