Jolla Mail automatic email check [answered]

I want to disable Jolla Mail from checking my email automatically and notifying me of new messages every time I connect to the internet. Can this be done and how?

Open Settings and do the following:
- Select Accounts
- Select your e-mail account
- Look for the option Sync emails
- Tap it to open the list
- From the list select Manually
