I want to send some pictures with whatsapp, and when I choose "gallery" I can see some pictures but not all of them. For example I can't see the pictures taken by the camera or some picture I downloaded.

I have been trying different things and after rebooting the phone the images available from android have been synced with the gallery. It would great if they are synced automatically.

Try again after update. I've tested this with Evernote and everything seems to work fine (photos appear in Android gallery immediately after taking them - refreshed when I go back to the opened Android app).

I heard from IRC that this is semi-common problem on Android phones. Android doesn't read images from filesystem, but from database instead which needs to be updated. Problem is that images aren't indexed fast enough in Jolla, so it could take very long time that those are seen by android apps.

I solved this problem installing app called force media scan from Play store so I can manually index my images. After manual indexing images are shown at Android apps.

Sadly this did not work for me. First I tried it with ln -s /androidpicturesplace ~/Pictures/android. It worked until I did a reboot. Now I tried this app. Didn't do anythingat all :(
