Tried with two Jolla phones both running Sailfish 1.1.7.28.

How to produce: Phone language is Finnish

Start maps, choose pedestrian map. After location is found, choose spot on map which would require a left turn at some point. Ask for driving instructions (Ajo-ohjeet), choose "type of travel" (Matkustustapa): by foot (jalan) Swipe or tap "Show instructions (Näytä ohjeet)"

I get "Käänny oikealle" for right turns. For left turns, I get "Turn vasemmalle" instead of "Käänny vasemmalle"

Updating to Sailfish 1.1.9.28 did not fix the issue. There's also "Turn loivasti vasemmalle" instead on "Käänny loivasti vasemmalle" when using pedestrian map and choosing on foot.

This is not related to the chosen map, but to the chosen travel type. I get this behaviour with road map too if I choose "by foot".

No running 2.1.1.24/Jämsänjoki. After system teset and upfate hell I did fresh install of the Maps application. Just tried this and sadly this.minor issue exists still.

I actually tried to find the sailfips-maps translation files so that I could try to fix it myself. Found only this: https://translate.sailfishos.org/fi/sailfish-maps/sailfish-maps.ts

But it does not contain route information strings (or I'm blind). Anyone know where they are hidden on the device or can I even fix this myself? Naturally I would share the fix.

Neverending story: After update to 2.1.1.26 and dowloading maps application update, this is still not fixed.
