dalvik crashes and doesn't start without reboot of the phone [answered]
Alien Dalvik crashes daily and doesn't start without phone reboot. It is really annoying, but everything is ok after reboot.
This is not related any special app.

It also works if you go to active cover screen, long press and then use the pulley to close all apps. You need to close all but then it should work again. At least that works for me.
not sure if it is a satisfactory answer... maybe there should be a gui feature allowing restart/reset dalvik? say it's an idea

you can as well do as root (with developper mode) systemctl stop aliendalvik.service
then you try to launch again your android app and it should work (usually i start the app twice but you can as well do the same command line with start instead of stop)
pat_o ( 2014-01-05 22:48:44 +0200 )editIt shouldn't crash on it's own. Do you mind telling us what apps you have installed/the most recent app you installed? Yandex store or one or more others?
steph ( 2014-01-05 23:35:09 +0200 )editYes, it does not crash on it's own, instead crashes happens when I try to continue app use or open new app. Apps have been HS, Iltasanomat, Angry Birds etc. quite normal apps. Don't know why it crashes. That developer mode tip is useful, will use it.
