Hello TJC

I remark that if no app are opened (home screen empty).
If we tap on the home-screen Then appear the 1st line of app launcher.
I find it nice.

But as soon as we launch an app. then it is not possible any more.
That sad and is incomprehensible, that no more effort was done to find a way to hold it in other cases.

Why not use the rest of non covered screen-part under the app-covers to wait for this action?
By 1, 2, 5, 6 cover this part is still huge for a finger.

and by 4, 9, 12 really small but still possible.

Please could jolla think about it an other time? For my part i'm convinced that could works.

I'm very sad with it too. Having fast apps pannel at the bottom is more comfortable for one hand usage of the phone.

Now to make a call or sms one should pull up app menu and that trying to touch the upper left phone button with you big thumb that is awfully is the shortest one :((

Yes, I could close all my running apps and get the fast apps panel back by tap. But I really can't because most of the time there is podcast player or newsfeed reader in it.
