Option to choose if the signature is appended to the top or bottom of outgoing messages
When I hit reply on an email, my signature is added to the very bottom: below the quote of the message I'm replying to, but the textarea cursor is located at the top.
I suggest two settings instead:
- Top post: textarea cursor would be at the top, signature would be above the quote but below the cursor
- Bottom post: textare cursor would be below the quote, signature would be below the cursor
Top posting is bad practice and goes against recomended standards. I'd avoid a setting to promote this.

WhyNotHugo ( 2014-05-06 15:46:31 +0200 )editIt is worth pointing out that RFC1855 is very clear that it does not specify an Internet standard of any kind. It is what is known as an 'informational' RFC. Following it is at best a courtesy, not a requirement.
strongm ( 2014-08-04 22:36:06 +0200 )editYes, it's a mere recomendation, and following a recomendation which has been followed for decades is usually best practice. While Jolla is free to insert a signature in the middle if they want to, following recomended AND common practice is usually what's advisable.
