Hello TJC,

Now that the Sfos 2.0 is nearly to be out, what is it planed for the next months for the software.

How the next generation of update works? still monthly? or as soon as dev-team can?
Which kind of expected new features will come.

Has noticed from Markkyboy, there are the rest one from 2015 Q4 here as short term ones.
Interesting would be about further one (2016) and long term one.

Have a nice sail.

please concrete things are expected, be a little bit serious...

But other people know it. maybe we could bring the jolla men in charge to communicate it. you know "we arfe unlike " and "transparency"...

Ahem, SFOS 2 is not out. 1.1.9.28 is pre SFOS 2 with the new ui but many things missing (see changelog and release notes) including pulley menu timings and much more. Let's see what happens next month (or after shipping of the first tablets)...

For 2016 that must be Sailfish Secure, definitely.

http://techcrunch.com/2015/03/02/jolla-partners-to-build-secure-version-of-its-sailfish-mobile-os/?ncid=rss

if not the Sailfish project will fall short as a serious contender with something substantial to offer.

With Sailfish secure it might be possible to please the demands of the Fairphone community. And bigger players.
