I was listening music through android spotify via bluetooth headphones. I made a phone call using btheadphones and after phone call I noticed spotify was still playing music, there was no sound on bt headphones or after disconnecting them. music was on fastforward and closing app did not help. I tested few other apps with video. there was no sound on those. video did work. reboot solved problem.

So we need a "restart sound subsystem" button in Sailfish Utilities?

I would prefer a fix for this. so it would not happen in 1st place. Earlier versions btheadphones did work and buttons functioned too.

Noticed a similar audio bug in BT:

  • I had my Sony BT connected to my Jolla
  • Listening to music with CuteSpot
  • Pressed pause on the player
  • Left the premises of my phone with BT still connected, resulted in BT disconnection
  • After a while I came back and the BT was automagically connected again
  • Sound was all disturbed [uu-a-a-a-a!] (like listening from an old gramophone from a bunker)

Tried the following:

  • Disconnecting and reconnecting - didn't work
  • Pause/stop music, play again - didn't work
  • Close the App and reopen - didn't work
  • Disconnect and reconnect the BT - worked

So there seems to be a bug in the BT with Jolla.

EDIT: Just connected my BT headphones (fresh connection so to speak) and again got the garbled sound. Had to disconnect and reconnect to get the audio normal again.
