Ringtone not changing

Morning, I'm not able to change from the default ring tone. I've changed the setting within Settings/System/Sounds and Feedback to the one I want. I've also added an action within Settings/System/Ambiences but 1) this keeps getting removed and 2) it doesn't seem to have any effect.
Any suggestions? My next though is to delete/rename the Jolla ringtone and see which plays for an incoming call.
After making your changes in the ambience section, are you selecting 'set the ambience' from the pulley menu?
