This is alarming!

Never experienced it, though.

We found one glitch that might play a role here: Depending on process scheduling after rtc wakeup, the system might lose track of the fact that the wakeup occurred due to an imminent alarm -> the device falls back to suspend before alarm ui has a chance to start up -> the alarm gets delayed / missed altogether. I'm working on a fix for this.

Cool, cool. Thanks for the update - this seems to be a rather random occurring bug - because I've had no trouble with the alarms since, but if the alarm can be made more robust, then that's definitely better.

Thanks @spiiroin great to here, that this bug is in progress

@spiiroin, is the bug related to this one?

lakutalo ( 2015-10-29 14:03:23 +0200 )edit

@lakutalo: Should be no relation. Here: Alarms that do not show up at all. There: Alarm itself did work, but (assumed) hw reboot after dismissing alarm causes booting up to ui.

This also happened to me, even though my phone was charging and i have activated the "stay on while charging" option. So, no wakeup :P

The alarm went off later when i turned the phone off though. so that works :D

It has been on for 5 days since the update. Also i had changed my ringtone twice during that time.
