Can't remove twitter notifications [duplicate]

The changelog states
Facebook notifications and recent Twitter tweets are back in Events
and while that seems to work fine I can't find a way to remove Twitter events. There's no X, remove all doesn't remove them and when I click on one it opens in browser but also stays at the notifications.
