Sailfish 2.0 Does your apps exit on its own to the home screen as a live tile?

I have a Meecast widget on my home screen, I normally have the android MX player on and running in the background as a live tile when I need to open another app. This particular time I was able to catch it happen on my Jolla. I have the MX Player running in the background as a live tile, then I opened my Jolla Together app to search for similar problems and issues that others have. After a while of searching the Jolla Together app exited and became a live tile in the home screen. I am having a hard time determining when this happens. At first I thought the Meecast update may be interfering with the app and causing it to exit and become a live tile in the home screen. When I checked the update setting on my Meecast, I have set it for 15 minutes. There are times where this happens before or after 15 minutes. Does anyone have any idea what may be causing this to happen?

I occasionally see my Sailfish-native Webcat browser app do that. Kind of a automatically imposed (semi-)shutdown. I'm totally only hazarding to guess, but could it be memory running out or something of similar vein?

You are running out of memory and the OOM manager kills your application in order to get memory for other apps. Note that gstreamer has a bug causing it to eat up all the available memory and therefore causing all the apps to be killed. Try running SailTime to see how much free swap you have left.

I have rebooted my phone after I installed the SailTime app. I open the SailTime app and the Mem info is 797.99MiB/809.27MiB (98.61%) Swap info is 1.92MiB/613.19MiB (0.31%). After the auto update of 3 mins, info is Mem: 780.0. MiB/809.27 MiB (96.4%). Swap: 195.04 MiB/613.19MiB (31.81%). What do all this info mean? I am not familiar with this app and information. Could you kindly explain?

Thanks.

When the RAM (Mem) fills up, stuff is moved to the Swap located in the internal flash. When the Swap fills up, the out-of-memory (OOM) manager starts to shut down applications in order to get memory to run the remaining ones. Which applications are closed, and when they are closed, depends upon the configuration of the OOM manager. Starting from 1.1.9, applications that are closed by the OOM manager leave their window open but dimmed in the home page.
