Some apps like com.skype.raider and me.unfollowers.droid are started without my permission or setting at system > apps > lunch > allow starting app services on system start. (not active)

So, why isn´t that option working.

Must this prevent to start such services?

Edit:

IMHO If you have the option, system must prevent to start services!

The same applies to both Amazon appstore and Kindle app as well. I noticed it on 1.9.28 and earlier versions.

Noticed the same precisely today with whatsapp, receiving a message without opening the app (Allow services to start on bootup not active too).

Skype is one of those android apps which keeps respawning in background without users permission. It's heavly disscussed problem even on officials skype/microsoft forum and main reason why I gave up this service provider. The problem touches not only us alien_dalvik users but also whole android community. Automatic task killer only partly solved this issue in my case and added another: even heavier battery drainage. Unfortunetly there is much more of processes working as those you mentioned. Hope there is a way to go around this problem.

And it probably does but skype is smart enough to bypass it. Try to logout just to be sure. Maybe it will help. In my case it didn't.

I don´t think so. It feels like the opposite, it seems that Sailfish start bg services of apps where this option is active in addition.
