Visual feedback of pulley menu
There are some complaints about pulley menus (i.e. here). Sometimes folks ask for sensitivity adjustment or for tuning gaps between pulley menu items.
But I believe that more basic reason is visual feedback (most or the users relay on visual feedback).
But now visual feedback is quite poor because there is no "target area" where you must put menu item to activate it. You can't say for sure what is the distance you must pull to activate an item of the pulley menu. It makes muscle memory calibration much more difficult.
Imagine that the scale of this radio is moving together with the marker when you turn the knob trying to fine tune the station. You are trying to get from 100 to 102, but digits "102" also moves to the right as you turn the knob.

That's how pulley menus behave now :)
The suggestion is to designate static area where item will be activated. This area should be visible in advance, not only when the item reaches it.
this is it!
