calendar - any alternative calendars?

Is there any real alternatives to the calendar in Jolla? I have tried a few Android versions a while ago, but they seem to not work well due to not having any configurable "accounts" feature (which Android phones do have)

The list of issues I have with the calendar is long, and most of them are reported here any how (the calendar bug list is looong). But right now, I have no more patience. I need a working calendar, and I need it now.

Having such a poor calendar (and e-mail) in Sailfish is truly a big blocker to use the phone for real work. It would be a pity to have to switch to an Android phone just because of this - but that is what I will need to do unless a real working alternative for Sailfish surfaces.

I'd imagine a calendar appliction is one of the easiest office-type applications to write. Basically all you have to do is define the UI as you want it, the business logic is then just a database connection.

If you specify exactly what you want from it, it'd not take that many days to implement it... ;)

@juiceme Hey, why haven't you answered to my app-request (https://together.jolla.com/question/110708/app-request-calendar-app/)? 😉 I think this is a very important issue, but unfortunately I bet that within 1 day this thread will be closed as duplicate ... and nothing will change ... till another concerned sailor will raise a similar topic ... and so on ...
