Issue with a failed download - notification keeps re-appearing
I've got an odd little issue which I'm hoping you guys can help with.
A few days back I had a music file downloading when the connection dropped out and the notifications menu showed up "download2.mp3 - download unsuccessful". Which is fine, however every time I clear the notification it then re-appears around half an hour later.
Normally I'd go in and remove the half-complete download which should make the notification vanish, but unfortunately it's via an Android app and has decided to download to a folder I don't have access permissions to.
Anyone got any tips as to how I can either a) get rid of the notification for good or b) ideally obtain access to the android folders that I don't have permission to view/edit?
i have several files that failed to download in notification area but from jolla browser. they keep reaping after i have cleared them. I'd appreciate if someone could help me with this.

objectifnul ( 2017-12-27 13:10:44 +0200 )editI have the exact same issue with an Android app, 100's of failed download notifications. How do you stop these? Answer to delete mozilla downloads.json seems related to native rather than Android downloads. How do you stop the Android notifications?
