What is happening with the shipping of the phones?!

Dear Jolla,

I bought a phone almost two weeks ago, and since November 23rd the status is "In Picking".

I know that you moved last week, but I suppose that the fulfillment center/storage facility is somewhere else than in your offices. Or has it maybe something to do with the strike at the Finnish Postal Service?

If this is so, please don't make the same communication mistake again (like with the tablet) and tell us! It is easier to say "Sorry guys, the Finnish post is striking" instead of saying nothing and let our minds do wild guesses and look for an inevitable parallelism with the tablet problematic...

The finnish post strike ended as of today only. So I assume that most likely it has something to do with it.

I agree with you. I bought a phone november the 15 and status still as "paid". A little communication from Jolla about what's going on will be great.

they are simply overloaded now (half of staff left...), end-user and b2b department is busy but processing, please be patient

it took them 4 weeks to deliver my phone in feb. 10 days in picking ;-) so maybe no reason to worry yet

I ordered my phone November 14th and now phone is finally coming, it was about two weeks in picking status.

I had a similar question and got this reply from Customer Care today that's relevant for your time frame as well:

Hello and thank you for writing in.

Currently we're experiencing some unexpected challenges in our logistics chain, which is causing delays in Jolla Phone order shipments. The situation has been unclear and quick to change, so unfortunately we haven't been able to pro actively update our customers with new estimates for shipping.

However, below are some of the rough estimates we have been able to gather thus far. NOTE This is the best information we have, and is subject to change.

If you placed your order between November 15-16th, we expect your order to be shipped December 8th.

If you placed your order between November 17-25th, we expect your order to be shipped between 9-11th of December.

Our sincerest apologies for these delays, and we appreciate your patience.

Since the situation in our company continues to be challenging, we apologize for any gaps in communication this situation may cause.

Should you need an update on your order, please write back to us and we'll do our best to get one for you.
