Hopefully this tablet matter will get its closure in January so we all can start looking forward to next software uppdates and new Sailfish devices (Jolla or more probaply some licence manufacturer).

Probably the relationship with the manufacturer was severed due to last month's financial issues, or the board simply found that re-starting the manufacturing was too costly. I don't really blame them for this decision, but still.
This is also bad for the lucky few who already got the tablet, as I bet many SailfishOS app developers won't care about adapting their apps to the new form-factor.
I hope that they'll include a "full refund" among those surprises even if I doubt that. I may very well jump off the Sailfish train in 2016 so I probably won't do anything with another phone.
