If you try and update an app that is already installed in the Google Play Store, it will install just fine, but won't show up in the apps. Will only reappear (In the end of the list) after reboot.

Yepp! Would be fantastic if that could be avoided.

You can click "Open" from the Google Playstore and on my phone the app reappears sometimes in the apps after opening.

Yeah, it works if you launch it from inside of the Alien-Dalvik machine, but the SailfishOS side doesn't see the update

Google Play is not officially supported.

But this is a flaw in itself, supported or not.

If I have media player in home which says that HD videos are not supported, and hacker integrates coded in a wrong way to the system, and then video jitters, is the flaw in media player or the hacker who integrated it wrong? As there was also a way to integrate in a way which works.

But this could be a flaw in installing the apps, not particularly the Google Play itself

Its a flaw how you have setup Google Play itself (as there are steps missing in community instructions). And this forum cannot tell you nor support you how to setup it correctly for legal etc reasons. You need to find alternative forums for solving your Google Play problems.

GooglePlay supported or not, then the question is: Can the list of launcher icons be refreshed/reloaded without rebooting the phone, e.g. via terminal command?
