text messages and caller list gone
Hi folks,
Some minutes ago I recieved a text message (phone made it's sound). When I tried to read it, it was gone and so were all the other, stored texts. I figured, a reboot couln't hurt and did so. Messages still gone and now the caller list is also empty. Uptime before reboot was a little more than 7 days btw.
Since I don't know how exactly jolla stores these data (I guess some sqlite db) I can only guess that something went wrong there. Could also be a file system error, who knows. Don't feel like and don't have time to investigate this further at the moment. Guess the data is gone for good anyways, bummer.
Things like that make it kind of hard to promote this product.
Sincerely, T.
Can you check your Device Info screen to see if the device storage is full. I have gotten some weird behaviour from txt and phone databases when storage full but it recovers when I make some space and reboot.

If you're able to switch on developer mode and user the terminal, try these hints here: https://together.jolla.com/question/125474/regular-btrfs-balancer-balance-its-normal/
Another hint - from another related TJC page - is to not use more than 7 or 8 GB of the internal RAM (yes, that sounds very... odd). Maybe move some pictures, videos or other files from internal to external SD card, if possible.

btrfs fi df /
tells me that 2.84GB are used. I usually put big files on the external SD card.Flight mode is working just fine. I use it daily (well, rather nightly). Did not perform the balance yet. Thing is that now the text and caller lists are working again but all the data until yesterday is gone. So I guess there will be no way to repair that.
I also don't notice any other performance issues.
thesix ( 2016-01-28 12:06:48 +0200 )editOk, so it's not that btrfs problem. Good!
I've become very sensitive to this so I just wanted to advise proactively... :)
