When my headset is connected to the phone and I continue using my phone (swiping the call to the background and so on) I can't lock my phone again.

So when I put my phone back in my pocket while still on the phone, and also put my hands in my pocket because it's cold outside, I continue with disabling my microphone and hanging up unintentionally.

With SailfishOS 1.x it was possible to lock the phone manually during a voice call.

That's where priority should be put on!

The possibility to make or answer a call in every situation should be given.

This was possible with my Nokia N9, but not with the Jolla phone! Phone app reacts to slow!

If the phone is overloaded by app activity, making a call should be always be possible.

@renegade22 Can you elaborate on what you mean by "locking the phone?"

There should not have been any major changes to this in year+ and basically it should be possible to use power key to blank/lock the screen, except:

  • When there is alarm on screen: Power key is reserved for snoozing the alarm (once all alarms are snoozed/dismissed power key blanks screen again)
  • When there is incoming call on screen: power key mutes the ringing tone (until the call is answered / terminated the power key remains reserved for muting, but the call ui can still be swiped to background and display blanked via swipe from top gesture/menu)
    • During OS update installation / while using neverblank debug mode: It is not possible to turn the display off

as you can see here, locking the phone with the ambiance changer. This is not possible if an voice call is active.

Still present on 2.0.5 Still not possible to work comftotable with headset and phone proximity sensor not covering while touching it.

annoying, if muting the phone while trying to put it away in your jeans.

@renegade: I can't reproduce this. Well, apart from: When not using speaker/headset doing top swipe in a manner that will obstruct proximity sensor will blank the screen before the swipe gesture can be made - is that what you meant? Even then you can still press the power key (or do the top swipe from the side of the screen that does not have the p-sensor).
