The tools in the gallery don't quite cut it and -unless i missed it- there isn't a dedicated one for SFOS.

I'd prefer some more options and enhancements inside stock camera app, more that a dedicated new app..

What is daily needed is a crop function to square or any format

try warehouse (openrepos.net), you'll find two image processors. Also rather on the low end of things.
