Ambiente do not show
Hi everybody,
I recently had a problem with my FS running full. I first tried to do a factory reset before I found the posts about btrfs balance which did not work. After having run btrfs balance and having deleted some files, everything works fine again except the ambiente: they have disappeared from the UI. However, they are still in /usr/share/ambience.
Also when I attach another TOH, the phone wants me to install the ambiente and then the installation never ends (and has no outcome).
Is there a way to recreate the ambiente registry? Or has there to be somthing else? Thanks a lot and kind regards, Aurel
do you talk about jolla ambiences or self created? cause selfcreated do disappear when the picture they are based on disappears. it is sufficient to rename or delete the picture and the ambience gets lost from UI
pawel ( 2016-07-13 22:39:45 +0200 )edit@hullabaluh - I had similar problems, for me, simply typing this into terminal got my ambience working again;
systemctl --user restart ambienced.service
- occasionally, I still have to use the same command for a newly installed Jolla ambience that isn't showing in the pulley menu.@pawel, I believe the OP is referring to Jolla ambience, as indicated by him stating that the ambience still exist in usr/share/ambience (user ambience stored in obscure file in /home/nemo/*).
Spam Hunter ( 2016-07-14 14:12:00 +0200 )edit@pawel, yes, I talk about the jolla ambiences. @Markkyboy, thanks for your idea but the ambiences (well, none, not only the ones from jolla) still do not show up. I already tried to uninstall and reinstall ambienced. I've got no error but it still does not work :-/
hullabaluh ( 2016-07-14 14:28:27 +0200 )editI have the same problem when I attach TOH. I have installed 2.0.2.51 Aurajoki. I tried @Markkyboy solution but doesn't work for me :(
