I'm on SFOS 2.0.3.11 and the problem with 'Quit' is apparent. However, tap New Window and spawn another terminal, open the options menu in the new terminal window and hit 'Quit' and the window does indeed, quit. Trying to use 'Quit' to close the original terminal window causes it to minimise and clear the contents of the terminal when maximised.
On 2.0.3.11, the 'Minimise' button is not present.
Spam Hunter ( 2016-07-24 15:41:11 +0200 )editMinimize indeed doesn't do anything, but Quit does what it's supposed to do. However, a "ghost cover" is left behind. Tapping on the cover restarts the app, thus creating the illusion of "clearing the contents of the terminal" (it's actually a new instance).
jollailija ( 2016-07-25 10:22:56 +0200 )editGhost covers left by the terminal are a known bug. They also happen when you type 'exit'.
The reason new windows don't leave ghost covers is likely that Sailfish thinks apps have a single instance, and the home screen logic for crashing apps and "ghost covers" doesn't apply.
