This is intended as a newbie tutorial for all Intex Aquafish users. It will obviously overlap with Jolla C users. Since Jolla C is targetted at a community which already has experience with SFOS, I had to use Intex Aquafish as the title. I am writing as a wiki so that community can help frame a usable article for Indian users.

Tutorial - Please run the tutorial app atleast 4 -5 times to get a hang of the interface. Another way to get an idea about how people use it is to see the Basic Tips of Sailfish OS 2.0 UI on Aquafish/Jolla C by Leszek Lesner. He also made one overview video for SFOS 2.0

Dual Sim - Go to settings -> Sim card -> Explicitly check the box where you are the telling the phone to ask you which sim to choose while calling or messaging. You can also enable or disable SIM here.

Contacts - In order to import contacts first export your old phone contacts to Memory card. Insert the memory card. Open Settings -> Apps -> People -> Import contacts wizard

Keyboards - To use Indian language keyboards like Hindi, telugu and malayalam, go to Settings -> System -> Text input and select languages. The selected languages will have a glow beside them. Now while typing you can see En at the place where you see the spacebar. Touch and hold to choose other keyboards.

Note: Use also Emoji keyboard for Smileys 😎

Advanced:

Warehouse Apps - You have a way to install some beta and new apps like Sailorgram ( App for Telegram) which are not in Jolla store using Warehouse. If you want a nice video tutorial which was made for SFOS 1.x please watch this OLD video from Jolla Tides.

Battery Life - Apparently there was a discussion about battery life. Jolla1 used to have better performance only after some optimisation was done post release. Here is community helping with tips for battery life.

Swype Keyboard - There is a Swype keyboard created by the community member Eric Berenguier. It is available in Openrepos . Its a bit buggy to use and eric clearly says its not a stable release.

I installed an emoji keyboard from the warehouse but I don't know how to use it. It doesn't show under my keyboards in settings.

@utkarsh Yes the emoji keyboard doesn't show by default. According to instructions at Emoji keyboard website it says to restart keyboard from utilities and better restart Jolla.

@pavi the emoii keyboard has no way back to the English keyboard? Once I change to Emoji I can't find any way back to English except changing it in settings.

@utkarshSorry for that 😥 There is a small UI issue with that Emoji keyboard. I also faced the similar issue. So the way to come out is this way. Once you open emoji keyboard on left side bottom corner you see the globe icon. Long press it to come out of Emoji. We should inform the emoji guys, sorry forgot to do that.
