Intex Aqua Fish rear-facing camera doesn't focus [answered]
Is it just me or have others also noticed that the rear-facing camera of the Intex Aqua Fish won't focus quite right? Here during preview it keeps on adjusting and when taking a picture eventually, it isn't what you'd call crisp. I had similar behavior on an HTC device after changing the ROM to some cyanogenmod. Could it be a driver issue?
EDIT: Initially I was talking about the front-facing camera. However, I meant the (8 MP) rear-facing one.
The front facing camera is of fixed focus and focus cannot be adjusted unless an additional lens is used. For that matter, objects at different distances from the sensor could appear to be of varying clarity and sharpness.
The adjustment in the viewfinder you see are probably of auto-exposure. Depending on the lighting conditions, presence of dark and light profiles (varying contrast) in the frame and movement, camera might be finding it difficult to lock down to a specific exposure resulting in alternate dark and bright live preview on the screen.
Edit: After the edit in the question, this is no more an answer. Converting to a comment.

Federico ( 2016-08-15 10:37:28 +0300 )editDocumented some tech stuff with my Jolla C yesterday. The camera didn't really focus well before taking the shot but the result was still quite good. Camera was set to autofocus and the objects that I photographed was quite dimly lit.
