Intex Aqua Fish supports 2300\1800\850 frequencies, Bands 3,5 (FDD) and 40 (TDD). But it doesnt work in Russia, or the USA for example. What can be done to make 3G, 4G/LTE work again?

Does it not support more? It is the same as the Jolla C, and that phone support more. Same snapdragon. Maybe we need to wait for a new update of SailfishOS.

@richdb: The snapdragon chipset supports all LTE bands, but only some of them are unlocked on the phones. The unlocked bands d iffer on Jolla C and aqua fish. I don't know wheter this is a pure software issue or whether there are (minor) HW differences (e.g. antenna design) as well.

I am using Intex Aqua Fish in Russia. LTE works perfectly at least within MTS.

Intex Aquafish is essentially useless in the US on TMobile since 3G or 4G/LTE does not work any longer. The hardware supports it, but its either newer qualcom drivers installed with the hardware or sailfish os changes during updates that threw the functionality out. The phone while nice is basically a colourful door stopper at 2G!

Please stop this. Aqua Fish have different hardware modem and antennas not designed to work in frequencies other than 2300\1800\850.

@coderus not true:

1900 GSM is supported by tmobile which is 3G an 4G i believe, i had it running on my Intex Last Year in the US.

http://www.radio-electronics.com/info/cellulartelecomms/lte-long-term-evolution/lte-frequency-spectrum.php

Band 2, 15 LTE Uplink possible using 1900

Band 33, 35 LTE Uplink and Downlink possible using 1900 frequency supported by Aquafish modem.

So when i say i had LTE running correctly and successfully in tge US i mean it.

@DarkTuring: 2G/GSM support on a given frequency does not imply 3G/UMTS or 4G/LTE support, please stop spreading misinformation.
