Whatsapp can't use mobile data

Trying to activate whatsapp in my aqua fish it says "There is no mobile connection. Please Refresh and restart the device if problem persists." I tried everything I know, but no improvement . How can i fix the problem..?

Check with another android app whether you access there.

You may also try to stop and restart android support (via settings app) or restart networking (via settings - sailfish utilities)

sorry, i was a little busy.

i tried some other apps like ucbrowser, aptoid. the aptoid did not work as well, but surprisingly ucbrowser worked like a charm.

I tried restarting 'networking' from utilities, restart android support, still no change.

at last i registered using wifi. now whatsapp works wemm even on mobile data. the prob is no contacts are loaded. is there a solution for this..???

(i tried the 'include hidden contacts' option from settings)
