Skype kills PulseAudio when connected to Bluetooth headset
Hello,
I'm using Intex Aqua Fish with Sailfish 2.0.2.51.
I encountered a problem with Android version of Skype (Skype 7.14.0.305).
The problem in short is that, when device is connected to Bluetooth headset, it is impossible to use Skype for voice/video calls. When making a Skype call, the sound just stops in the whole system and the phone needs to be rebooted. Only in rare cases it survives.
I tried to find the reason and found that process of pulseaudio has segfault, and it is enough to restart only the apps which are using sound and Android subsystem to have the sound again.
Here's the short part of a journalctl's log, which contains the problem: http://pastebin.com/Eq12A1VM. If you need more extensive log, please let me know.
Also I could get the backtrace of pulseaudio when it dies:
Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault. 0xabfc0ab8 in pa_sink_ext_get_name () from /usr/lib/pulse-8.0/modules/module-policy-enforcement.so (gdb) bt #0 0xabfc0ab8 in pa_sink_ext_get_name () from /usr/lib/pulse-8.0/modules/module-policy-enforcement.so #1 0xabfc774a in ?? I don't have debugging symbols for pulseaudio and I couldn't find where to download them. If they are located in some open repositories, please tell me where, I will try to get fulll backtrace.
Also I could find the shortest way to reproduce the crash:
- Restart the phone.
- Connect phone to bluetooth headset.
- Start Google Play Music (maybe another android music app), start playing some music.
- Open Skype, try to call to Skype Test Call.
- PulseAudio dies.
Please fix this bug :)
Thank you
