Fiskarsinjoki- päivitys ei asentunut ongelmitta. - "Troubles with update"
Translated: My Jolla went totally stuck in the update, the display turned black and white. I waited for an hour and tried to turn off the device, but I had to remove the battery. Restart was not successful. I got Recovery Mode to restore to factory settings a couple of days before Jolla worked again. For some reason, backups cannot be restored from a memory card; such a choice does not exist. Restored backup from OneDrive does not bring back information, but rather destroy all the contacts that synchronize with Google.
Puhu englanti, kiitos! :)
lakutalo ( 2016-10-11 16:49:11 +0200 )editIt is easier for the community to help if you write your question in English. It increases probability for help. ;)
For now, I did the job for you. I hope it grossly matches with what you wanted to say.
Isn't the memorycard backups just .tar.gz (?) so you could try manual extract and see what they contain and go from there.
avhakola ( 2016-10-11 17:19:07 +0200 )editYes, there may be something about really like that
Peterpan ( 2016-10-11 17:32:02 +0200 )editthe waved black and white is not a problem in the lipstick interface by some script failure?
cemoi71 ( 2016-10-11 18:04:50 +0200 )editI'll be curious if there were still some patches active before that the update was done.... Or some changes done from hand....
The backup story from sfos itself is an other story i think. That's right?
cemoi71 ( 2016-10-11 18:09:40 +0200 )editI have in mind that was commented in a changelog, that the sfos backup has still some issues...
