Problems browsing Facebook site with mobile data [answered]

With the browser update in 2.0.4 release, I am having difficulty browsing Facebook mobile site. A lot of links within the site (e.g. News Feed, clicking on a notification etc.) result in a "No internet connection. Try again" error message. Clicking on the "Try again" link never works, takes me back to the same error message. Hitting the refresh button of the browser however will always reload the requested page correctly.

This only happens when using a mobile data connection, never with wi-fi. Also I have not observed anything similar with a web page other than Facebook.

Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?

I remember reading somewhere that to force mobile users to use their app, many companies serve "broken" webpages when they detect a mobile device / mobile connection (2g / 3g / 4g). (Some redirect you automatically to the app if installed, or to the app store if the app is not detected in the device). Would be interesting to know if that was the case here ...

This issue is not reproducible anymore in 2.0.5.6 release, I'm closing the question.
