People app show on map button when selected for vakid address doesnt launch any mapping application even through i have Here WeGo installed and Google maps and Poormaps etc.
When selected the text is highlighted but thats it.

fmotl is right, install regular maps! Really nice feature, I wasn't aware of this.
Request: Please enable this for Calendar

@hoschi apparently Jolla licensed phones dont have Maps feature and you canyt install it. Here WeGo doesnyt work as a straight substitute and is pretty slow to launch on my Turing phone.

Now its again not possible in 2.1.0.9!

Command failed: This tool could not find any available package: could not find sailfish-maps
(It worked on 2.0.5.6) Everybody any solution?

No duplicate. The link help to solve the problem bevore 2.1.0.9! It worked with 2.0.5.6 There is no map-application which works on pressing the button "show on map" in contacts. Only sailfish-maps works with this feature.

Perhaps the OP should convert his question to a 'feature request' for extra options.
