Are there any limitations for album picture in harbour Media app?

Well, it's a little bit strange. I have 9 albums, all with pictures set (by easytag program). 5 of albums pictures are shown in Media app same as in Cover page (on home screen). 2 of albums pictures are shown only in Cover page, but not Media app. And finally, the last albums picture is not shown anywhere (nor Media app, nor Cover page).

So, the question is, are there any limitations for album pictures? Like size, dimensions, DPI, or whatever could be?

It drives me mad a little.

Thanks! jiri

There are tons of threads here about SailfishOS not being able to consistently display album art in the media player. It's a most annoying topic and Jolla hasn't done much about it to my knowledge. (At least I'm not aware that they gave any information about known bugs, limitations, ways to work around them, ...)

The annoying part is that the part of SailfishOS that should extract album art from the audio file and make it available to, say, the media player comes from the GNU/Linux desktop. The same audio files that don't show album art on SailfishOS happily display their cover on a dekstop PC with mostly the same middleware. (Except for versions, compile options,...) Therefore, there should be an easy way to solve this puzzle.

Search for "album art" and you'll find most of the relevant questions. Don't expect an answer, though.
