How to set Lte band manually?
My Service provider operates in BAND3 BAND5 and BAND40 . Is there any way to select and set particular band manually? Thanks in advance.
We have moved to a new Sailfish OS Forum. Please start new discussions there.

No, there is not*. The decision of what band to use (out of those the phone is capable of using) is left to the base station (eNodeB) according to the specification.
*In theory you can disable bands by modifying a bitmask in the modem firmware. The phone will then report that it only supports the bands you want to use. I would not advice to try that, it might very well break something. Also, I'd assume that takes a reboot to apply and I'm guessing you wanted to change reasonably fast?
What is your use case anyway?
This is my use case. https://together.jolla.com/question/151338/unstable-data-connection/

See my comment on this question for how to see which band you are on: https://together.jolla.com/question/137336/lte-with-jolla-c/

Permit simultaneous LTE and 2G connection (for places where 3G frequency is not accessible)
Will Jolla / Sailfish provide an IMS framework?
Which LTE frequencies will be supported? [answered]
Why did you put a radio chip that wouldn't work anywhere in the US in the phone? [answered]
2G / 3G / 4G: allow/deny switches
(news?) 4G enabled in March update [not relevant]
