Intex Aqua Fish Touch Screen Problem

The touch screen of my Aqua Fish shoes some strange behaviour. I cannot select items in a particular section of the screen. It's a horizontal section in about the 3rd tenth from above (portrait mode). I cannot select the third caller in the call log for example. If I try to select it, either the second or fourth will be selected. Did anybody have the same experience? Can this also be software-related?
To test if it is a hardware failure: Go to
Settings > About Productand click 5 times on theBuildnumber. The CSD tool will open - inside the csd tool go toIndividual tests > Multi-touchand now slowly paint the screen with one finger. If you are unable to paint particular sections on the screen than it is most likely a hardware issue.Alternatively you are also able to use the Paint App from the Jolla store.

the touchinput is oftrn delayed and often misinterpreted by the software as a long press even though i am not touching the screen any longer. It makes for a real choppy experience.
