Multiple apps running going back to startup mode [duplicate]

Apologies if already asked... When running several apps together, the music app, or stock browser will refresh back to default opening screen, losing current web page or music stopping and going back to selection mode. It's rather frustrating...

Is this an issue with not enough memory or a known bug? Do other people see this?

Did you use search? I think it must be a duplicate... Try searching for oom. I think this question will help you most...
