Bluetooth earphones not detected [answered]

I bought a new pair of Bluetooth earphones: the Philips SHB5250BK/00, and it supposedly has: Bluetooth version 4.1 and HSP/HFP/A2DP/AVRCP support.

But I my Aquafish does not detect the earphones. I tried using an Android and a Windows phone; both of them pair with it comfortably.

Is this a known issue?

I use a Philips SHB3060 without problems with the jolla c. Did you used the pair mode: press and hold the on/ off button until the light flashes in red? And try it a couple of times, it will not always work the first time... Good luck!
