[Jolla C] Data roaming not allowed while it is a requirement from the operator
I inserted a second SIM for data only but the operator (o2) is one of the worst in my country (germany), so they have a deal with another operator (e-plus). That deal says every customer is allowed to use the network of the other (so they try to make one strong roaming network from two weak ones).
Now I wondered why I had no data connection, tried to reconnect and got this:

And you are sure you did enable data roaming in settings?
ossi1967 ( 2017-01-02 22:51:22 +0200 )editwell technically telefonica/o2 bought e-plus and is currently merging the networks, which will still take some time. In the meantime they enabled national roaming as V10lator described. On my Jolla national roaming worked even without roaming enabled,
Afaik they are currently merging the networks around Munich by changing the network id: previously o2 was 26207 and e-plus was 26203, now they set both former 2g and 3g networks to 26203 but left 4g on 26207. Maybe this confuses the phone, can you disable 4g for a test and try again?

@till Didn't know the details but also didn't really follow that topic so thanks for explaining. 4G wasn't enabled when this happened (in fact I use an Aqua Fish software modded to a Jolla C, so it shouldn't be able to log into o2s 4G network even when enabled).
//EDIT: Maybe it's also worth to know that the SIM isn't from o2 directly but from Netzclub.
