Hello folks, I have a problem with updating to 2.1.0.9 Iijoki. The GUI update process was nearly always failing for me and so it is now. As a last resort, the console update (version --dup) always solved the problem. Now, even the console update fails. I did this:

ssu ver 2.1.0.9
version --dup

Which gives me this error message:

Error: cannot install both pattern:jolla-configuration-sbj-0.9.7.1-10.59.1.jolla.noarch and pattern:jolla-configuration-sbj-0.9.7.1-10.59.1.jolla.noarch

Apparently, a package is tried to be installed twice.

Tried pkcon update, which gives me this error:

Fatal error: File './mw/armv7hl/calligra-data-2.7.9+git6-10.8.1.jolla.armv7hl.rpm' not found on medium 'https://releases.jolla.com/jolla-apps/2.1.0.9/armv7hl/'

Tried even sudo zypper update, which gives me this error:

File './mw/armv7hl/calligra-data-2.7.9+git6-10.8.1.jolla.armv7hl.rpm' not found on medium 'https://releases.jolla.com/jolla-apps/2.1.0.9/armv7hl/'

If I ignore, many other packages are missing.

Do I have any chance to get to 2.1.0.9?

do pkcon refresh / zypper refresh before acting with repos

Yes, definitely! First pkcon refresh, and thereafter goes pkcon update. Thanks, forgot the right commands during the time between updates.

But the first error with version --dup still persists. Did a successful pkcon refresh and pkcon update. Tried to reboot my Jolla but it freezed after reboot with a black screen. I am still able to connect to it via WiFi & SSH. When I try to do version --dup, I get this:

[nemo@Sailfish ~]$ version --dup

How do I get past this? Do I have to disable some of the repositories? Yes, I installed many packages from openrepos so I’d suspect some of the repos are dead or out of date.

be sure to disable all openrepos repositories if you use warehouse before upgrading.

Yes, this is exactly what I forgot (or neglected) to do. A factory reset was needed. The next time, I'll be wiser.
