Reconnection Issues
Hello, I'm experiencing connection issues with my Jolla 1. The problem seems to occur in situations when the network coverage changes. For example when I leave my flat and the phone should recconect to the mobile network or when I'm driving the connection switches from 4g to 3g and so on. In these situations the phone isn't able to connect anymore. Sometimes restarting the start display helps but most of the time I have to fully restart the phone. This happens about 2 or 3 times a week. This is very annoying. Because of a warranty case I got my current phone (new) in october last year but I think I allready had similar behaviour with my old phone before allthough not as often. But the issue could also be connected to the software version.
Does or did anybody experience similar issues? And how to get rid of this?
I experienced the same behaviour. Often it happens to me when I was on a train. Most of the time it helps switching flight mode on and off.

Is there a command to reliably restart the network registration and/or re-show the pin dialogue? (I must admit I haven't had the time to check if the DBUS commands would provide a feasible workaround via desktop file or something… has anyone else?). Most of the time, after the first reboot the battery is (at least shown) low.

jovirkku ( 2017-03-24 11:41:47 +0200 )edit@jovirkku speaking just for me, it's JP01s with both stable (Haapajoki) and EA (2.1.0.9 – have not experienced it since 2.1.0.10, but that's just installed recently). Jolla1 only has one SIM slot, so… "the first one". ;) Both of our SIMs are german O2 (an arguably abysmal carrier, which at least is good for finding problems).
