[Bug] Pausing video pulls up menu

If I wanted to pause a video and look at a frame, I cannot do that because pausing pulls up the menu and cuts off half of the video. Also, I can only use the seek bar when it is paused, so again, I can't seek frame by frame. This is really irritating.

Agreed. The video player really does need some love!, but then many other areas of the OS are still lacking.
