The Sailorgram version in OpenRepos indeed does not work with Iijoki. There is a branch by CodeRUS on GitHub that works.

Here is the download link: Sailorgram

For me, it works, no connection problems. It is, however, only English and cannot handle sticker.

If you had bothered to read the Warehouse comment thread you would have found the 0.89 beta. I'm running it since the 2.1 update. The only downside is that the daemon is disabled. If you've already installed the coderus fork and it's running fine, I see no reason to switch.

I installed the version from @coderus, but for me its only in english and has connection problems sometimes. Is there a chance, that @Dax will develop the old sailorgram package in near future? Or are there som other telegram projects on the horizon of sfos? And is the package in the dead dropboxlink, posdted from @Wickedsten the old sailorgram, just compiled for 2.1.0.1?

Many thanks for your help in advance!

Both the Dax 0.89 beta and the coderus fork are unusable because of connection problems and unreliable syncing. I've had to resort to using the telegram web interface (web.telegram.org) to actually see messages sent to me.

Dax has been AWOL since November on github, so I wouldn't get my hopes up as far as him coming back to straighten out the situation is concerned.

The other Telegram app, Jollagram, also hasn't been updated for a long time and seems to suffer from connection problems...

ok, thanks for clarification bocephus. Im useing the android version of telegram now, but it has problems with the sfos auto-correction and I want to use only native apps in longterm. I'm not into development , but is it really so hard to create a stable version of sailorgram for 2.1.0.1??? Hope, anybody will maintain this good app in the future, after dax seem to be gone...

@h.berd Unfortunately, Dax has abandoned Sailfish... https://twitter.com/dax89/status/854251128669822978

But you already found ade's package! Thanks for the info. I've installed it and it works like before. Upvoted! :)
