I'm looking for the simplest way to install Sailfish OS on my Nexus 4. I would like to replace Android with it. I was running Ubuntu Touch on it, then just reinstalled KitKat. Now I see instructions to install CM (which doesn't exist anymore), do something called multirom and a lot of complexity. Isn't there a way to burn an image onto it as simply as it was ti overwrite Ubuntu with KitKat?

Thanks.

You need Cyanogenmod as base to run SFOS on the Nexus 4. Ask on the the irc #sailfishos-porters channel on freenode maybe someone has a copy of the needed base Cyanogenmod.

May you ask we is Cyanogenmod is needed as base. The short answer, SFOS image contains libhybris which links bionic so you can run SFOS on Android HW.
