In the Settings app, after selecting WLAN, Connect to internet, and selecting an SSID, if the password you enter does not connect (not necessarily wrong - often it says 'connecting...') there appears to be no way to cancel out of the WLAN dialogue, or the Settings app. 'Cancel' only allows you to keep trying.

I've had this with several hotel wifi connections recently. I rebooted the phone each time.

In addition to this, there is no way to display the password, so it's very easy to enter a wrong one.

You can "forgot" this network from the setting...

Did you try swipe from the left or right in the lower area (below the list of networks) to leave?

@Giacomo Di Giacomo I can display the password while input by tapping "abc" on the right of the input field.

@s_mario (swiping lower area) Not sure. I think I tried that. It works if the password is wrong but twice on this trip the password was correct but it would not connect (did not get an IP address) and I cannot test that here in this Greek appartment.

@s_mario (below the list of networks) Where I am now, and where I was when this last happened, the list of potential networks occupied more than the entire screen. So while it says "Connecting ..." there is no 'below the list'
