I can't say when this bug appeared, but in 2.1.0.11 it is still present. To reproduce the bug: it is necessary to have one contact with more than 1 phone number; call this contact on all the numbers it has, one after another, then close the Phone app, if open; then try to modify the contact, and delete especially the primary phone number, save the contact, close the People app, reopen the app and display the same contact: the number deleted appears again. With a new test contact, containing 2 phone numbers, any of the phone numbers can be deleted if none of his numbers is use to make a call.

What device are you using?, what SFOS version is your device running?, please update your tags.

I followed your description to the letter, twice, I couldnt reproduce your problem (Jolla1 SFOS 2.1.0.11).

Do you have a phonenumber linked for that person (see pull down menu - link)? When you delete a linked phone number it will reappear and when you change the type or the label of the linked phone number, it will get an new occurence in the person. When you unlink the phone number, you will no longer see the phone number.

I am using JollaC, SFOS 2.1.0.11, no patches installed; I don't have any linked phonenumber. I will test again with a new contact with 2 phone numbers, and then write here the procedure of testing the bug.

I had a similar problem. Try to stop alien-dalvic before you delete phone numbers.

Android runtime is almost stopped on my phone; anyway, it shouldn't interfere with the Phone app.

Is this a SIM contact? if the contact is for example linked to a SIM contact number then you can not delete this number since SFOS is not capable of editing SIM data.
