It's been a while since the last update. More precisely ~two month ago "Lijoki" has been released with a promise to return back to monthly updates. Is it not priority anymore? Or it is still planned to release updates on monthly basis?

Can you point us to where you saw this "promise" please?

@Sthocs: I saw it too, I believe it was in the release notes for the latest version or in some blog post.

In one thread on TMO you can see there is some leak about new OS version http://talk.maemo.com/showpost.php?p=1528721&postcount=262 So it means they are working to deliver new version. It's better to have stable updates than updates every month.

As for the monthly updates - is was promised from the very beginning and it is still mentioned here: https://sailfishos.org/updates/

As for the promise to resume monthly updates - unfortunately can't find exact source right now but most likely it was in some blog post or press release.

It's better to have stable updates than updates every month.

This is arguable. 'Release early, release often' they said. And they (google) won the market following this approach. Please don't tell me that now they have only two releases in a year, it used to be different when they started.

Taking into account sailfishos - is (was?) OS for geeks, shorten release cycles means more feedback, more flexibility etc.

In any case, I just wanted to get some confirmation monthly updates are still priority and if don't - then would like to ask about one year roadmap.
